Magic upon Orin Rakatha
Legends speak of the times when magic flowed strongly in the world and mages could call forth great energies with but a few words and a gesture of their hands. However during the second great war (of which little is known) it is said that the Mystics drew all magic from world, leaving the inhabitants of Orin Rakatha to settle their differences with sword and shield and blood. Over the intervening centuries magic has begun to seep back slowly, allowing those who dedicate themselves to its study are able to harness it for their own use.
